《GB/T 38498-2020消毒剂金属腐蚀性评价方法》由628(国家疾病预防控制局)归口,主管部门为国家疾病预防控制局。
Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
This standard systematically specifies the corrosion evaluation system of disinfectants on five types of metal materials, including carbon steel and stainless steel, and innovatively subdivides the disinfection methods into:
| Disinfection method | Applicable test method | Typical disinfectant | Test duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aerosol spray | Aerosol cabinet (1m³) test | Peracetic acid | 45 cycles |
| Ultrasonic atomization | Aerosol chamber (20m³) test | Hypochlorous acid | 45 cycles |
| Immersion disinfection | Total immersion corrosion test | Glutaraldehyde | 72 hours |
Key technical points
1. Standardized sample treatment
Metal samples need to be polished on both sides with 120# water sandpaper and use special chemical cleaning agents: hydrochloric acid solution (1.19g/cm³) for copper sheets and nitric acid solution (1.42g/cm³) for aluminum sheets. The weighing accuracy after treatment is 0.1mg.
2. Corrosion rate calculation
Use the modified formula: R=8.76×10⁷×(m-mt-mk)/(S×T×D), where mk is the weight loss value of the control group, effectively eliminating the interference of environmental factors.
Implementation and application guide
Case: In the corrosion detection of disinfection equipment in a hospital, after 304 stainless steel was soaked in chlorine-containing disinfectant for 72 hours, the corrosion rate was measured to be 0.0087mm/a, which was judged as basically non-corrosive according to the standard.
Special precautions:
- Oxidizing disinfectants require daily replacement of test liquid
- Aerosol tests require synchronous control of temperature and humidity (20-25℃, 70-80%RH)
- Parallel sample deviation >10% requires retest
Standard evolution analysis
Main improvements compared to the old version:
- Added Zinc alloy test requirements
- Refined spray particle size standards (1-10μm)
- Introduced intelligent timing control system
- Special handling procedures for unstable disinfectants
