Introduction
Standard Framework and Technology Evolution
As the fourth part of the GB/T 38548 series of standards, this standard builds a complete digital processing metadata system, inherits and develops the Dublin Core metadata (DC) concept, and localizes it according to the characteristics of Chinese content resources. Compared with the 2006 version, it adds metadata specifications for multimedia elements such as audio and video, reflecting the evolution of digital content forms.
