《GB/T 38789-2020口腔清洁护理用品 牙膏中10种元素含量的测定 电感耦合等离子体质谱法》由TC492(全国口腔护理用品标准化技术委员会)归口,TC492SC1(全国口腔护理用品标准化技术委员会牙膏分会)执行,主管部门为中国轻工业联合会。
Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
This standard adopts inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (ICP-MS) as the core detection equipment, and establishes a quantitative analysis method for 10 elements in toothpaste, including Ti, Cr, Mn, Fe, Cu, As, Se, Cd, Hg, and Pb.
Comparison of technical methods
| Detection dimension | Traditional method | This standard method |
|---|---|---|
| Detection limit (mg/kg) | 0.1-1.0 | 0.05-0.1 |
| Simultaneous detection of multiple elements | Not supported | 10 elements simultaneously |
| Interference elimination | Chemical separation | Collision reaction cell + mathematical correction |
Key operating points
Microwave digestion procedure uses three-stage heating: 130℃(10min)→165℃(5min)→180℃(30min), and uses a nitric acid + hydrofluoric acid mixed system to ensure that the insoluble elements are completely dissolved.
Instrument parameter optimization requires special attention: RF power 1550W, helium flow 4-5mL/min, sampling depth 8-10mm, nickel/platinum cone requires regular maintenance.
Quality control requirements
Precision control regulations: In the concentration range of 0.1-100mg/kg, the repeatability limit (r) must meet the linear interpolation method requirements, and the relative standard deviation should be ≤5%.
The standard clearly requires the use of Sc/Ge/In/Rh/Re/Bi and other multi-element internal standard combinations. Elements in different mass ranges must match the corresponding internal standards:
- Low mass number (Ti/Cr/Mn): 45Sc/72Ge
- Medium mass number (As/Se/Cd): 103Rh/115In
- High mass number (Hg/Pb): 185Re/209Bi
Implementation suggestions
1. Pretreatment optimization: For toothpaste containing silicates, it is recommended to increase the amount of hydrofluoric acid to 3mL, and the acid must be fully driven out after digestion
2. Interference correction: Pay special attention to the interference of 75As by 77Se. It is recommended to use the correction equation of 3.1278×[77]-1.0177×[78]
3. Equipment verification: New instruments must be verified by NIST SRM 1643e standard water samples, and the recovery rate should be controlled at 90-110%
