Introduction

Analysis of the core content of the standard

Technical dimension Mechanical device Non-mechanical device
Installation method Internal integration of the tire Electronic system control
Environmental adaptability Need to pass the -40℃~85℃ test No clear temperature change requirements
Continuous distance ≥1.0km (after a tire burst)

Key Performance Indicators

The standard clearly requires that after a tire burst: steering force increment ≤ 50N, the braking distance complies with the requirements of Table 1, and the device body has no structural failure. When the steering axis has a single-sided tire burst, the braking distance formula at 80km/h is: S≤0.15v+v2/103.5.

Innovation of the test method

1. Requirements for the tire blowout simulation device:
- Deflation time ≤ 0.75 seconds
- Crack size: ≥ 50mm when tire width ≤ 245mm, ≥ 80mm when > 245mm

2. For dual-axle vehicles, only the first axle tire blowout condition can be tested

Type expansion rules

Type expansion can be achieved through 6 consistency judgments, including: same device parameters, same rim specifications, no reduction in wheelbase/track and other core conditions.

Implementation recommendations

1. Give priority to mechanical devices that have passed the 480-hour salt spray test
2. ESC system vehicles must verify the speed limit condition
3. Regularly check the dynamic balance of the device (Standard 4.1.3)
