Material properties and preparation process
The standard stipulates four mainstream preparation processes, including plasma rotating electrode method and plasma atomization method. Among them, TaNb3 grade requires niobium content of 1.5-3.5%, and oxygen content is strictly controlled at ≤0.025%, which is particularly suitable for the manufacture of high-temperature corrosion-resistant parts.
Key points of quality control
- Chemical composition testing is based on GB/T 15076 series standards
- Particle size distribution testing must meet both GB/T 1480 screening method and GB/T 19077 laser diffraction method
- Special indicators such as hollow powder rate need to be determined by negotiation between the supply and demand parties
Application case of aircraft engine blades
A certain type of aircraft turbine blade uses Ta2 powder and is formed by selective laser melting process. After testing:
- High temperature strength reaches 1200MPa@1000℃
- Oxidation weight gain rate <0.5mg/cm²·h
- Fatigue life is increased by 300% compared with traditional casting process
Implementation suggestions
- The storage environment needs to maintain a relative humidity of <40%
- Vacuum drying should be performed at 150°C before use
- It is recommended to use an argon protection system for printing
