Acceleration test

1 Scope

This standard specifies the general, safety and environmental requirements, personnel requirements, instrument and equipment requirements, test and evaluation as well as test documents for acceleration test of large-scale amusement device.

This standard is applicable to the acceleration test in inspection and test of large-scale amusement.

3 Terms and definitions

For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 20306 and the following apply.

data channel
physical channel for transmitting data, including all equipment from sensors to data recorders

3.2
acceleration transducer
device for converting acceleration into electrical signals

3.3
transverse sensitivity
ratio of the output signal generated by the excitation perpendicular to the sensitive axis direction of the acceleration transducer to the input signal

3.4
zero bias
output value of data channel when sensor input is zero

3.5
measurement coordinate system
coordinate system representing the test axis and the positive direction

4 General

4.1 Acceleration test is intended for:

a) design acceleration verification;

b) evaluation of passenger acceleration threshold;

c) evaluation of passenger restraint device selection;

d) evaluation of stimulation degree of amusement device.

4.2 In case of design acceleration verification, passenger acceleration threshold evaluation and passenger restraint device selection evaluation, the acceleration transducer shall be directly fixed on large amusement device for testing.

4.3 In case of evaluating the stimulation degree of amusement device, the acceleration test dummy of amusement device (hereinafter referred to as "test dummy") should be used for testing.

5 Safety and environmental requirements

Safety and environmental requirements during testing shall meet the requirements of GB/T 20050.

6 Personnel requirements

Personnel engaged in acceleration test of large-scale amusement device shall have basic knowledge of large-scale amusement device and relevant knowledge and ability of acceleration test.
