《GB/T 3909-1983信息交换用图形字符点阵形状》由TC28（全国信息技术标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准规定了5×7、7×7、7×9、9×7点阵图形字表符的形状，它适用于一般点阵式的打印设备和显示设备。标准中规定优先采用的格栅尺寸仅适用于打印设备。

Scope

This standard specifies the shape of 5×7, 7×7, 7×9, 9×7 dot matrix graphic characters, which is applicable to general dot matrix printing equipment and display equipment. The preferred grid size specified in the standard applies only to printing equipment. Note: ① The character dot matrix in this standard is expressed horizontally first and then vertically. ②If the priority size is not adopted, it may cause difficulties in machine identification.
