Introduction

Analysis of core technical requirements of the standard

Technical indicators Parameter requirements Test methods Physiological significance
Peak pressure of waist 3-10kPa Pressure distribution measurement system (accuracy 0.1kPa) Prevent excessive compression of the lumbar spine
Waist-to-hip pressure ratio 35%-70% 4 testers with BMI20-25 Maintain the natural curvature of the spine
Softness and hardness support User experience evaluation 10-person 5-point evaluation Muscle relaxation level

Key technology implementation points

Body pressure distribution measurement requires the use of pressure distribution measurement system. Note that during the test:

  • The tester's BMI is strictly controlled in the range of 20-25
  • Supine posture is standardized (legs naturally apart, arms crossed in front of the chest)
  • The test environment requires a horizontal hard floor

Background analysis of standard formulation

This standard is based on the human body size data of Chinese adults (GB/T10000) and is formulated according to the sleep characteristics of Chinese people. Research shows:

  • There is a 3-5° difference between the lumbar curvature of Asians and Europeans
  • Weight distribution characteristics lead to different waist-to-hip pressure ratio thresholds

User Experience Implementation Specifications

Note the 11 evaluation dimensions specified in Appendix B:

  1. Brand information must be hidden before testing
  2. Each posture experience time ≥ 30 minutes
  3. Evaluation results must be converted into scores (excellent = 100 points, poor = 20 points)
