《GB/T 4008-1996锰硅合金》由TC183（全国钢标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国钢铁工业协会。
本标准规定了锰硅合金的技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、包装、储运、标志和质量证明书。本标准适用于炼钢及铸造作合金剂、复合脱氧剂和脱硫剂，冶炼中低碳锰铁作还原剂用的锰硅合金。

Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, storage and transportation, marking and quality certificates of manganese-silicon alloys. This standard applies to manganese-silicon alloys used as alloying agents, composite deoxidizers and desulfurizers for steelmaking and casting, and for smelting medium and low-carbon ferromanganese as reducing agents.
