《GB/T 40132-2021便携式电子产品用振动电机通用规范》由TC528(全国信息产业用微特电机及组件标准化技术委员会)归口,主管部门为工业和信息化部。
Introduction
Interpretation of the core content of the standard
GB/T40132-2021 is my country's first national standard specifically formulated for vibration motors for portable electronic products, which stipulates the full process technical requirements from external dimensions to life testing. The standard divides vibration motors into:
- Class A: Iron-core vibration motor (typical application: mobile phone tactile feedback)
- Class B: Ironless vibration motor (typical application: smart wearable devices)
Comparison of key technical indicators
| Parameters | Class A motor requirements | Class B motor requirements | Test methods |
|---|---|---|---|
| Axial clearance | 0.01-0.30mm | Same as left | Axial tension method |
| Noise limit | ≤48dB(A) | ≤50dB(A) | GB/T10069.1 |
| Lifespan test | ≥700,000 times | ≥300,000 times | Intermittent operation test |
| Vibration response time | ≤0.2s | Measured by professional instruments | |
Environmental adaptability requirements
The standard specifies 8 types of harsh environment tests, the most challenging of which include:
- Temperature shock: -40℃↔70℃ rapid conversion (50 cycles)
- Salt spray corrosion: 16 hours neutral salt spray test
- Mechanical vibration: 10-150Hz three-axis vibration (2 hours each)
The allowable deviation range of performance after testing is shown in Table 1, such as the terminal resistance change does not exceed ±30%.
Implementation suggestions
Precautions in the design phase
- Give priority to the motor model naming rules recommended in Appendix B
- Note the lead wire polarity identification: red must be positive
- Vibration test requires the use of standard modules (Article 4.14)
Key points of production quality control
- Sampling each batch of axial clearance (critical dimension)
- 100% detection of insulation resistance (≥1MΩ)
- Periodically perform 48-hour continuous life test
Standard evolution analysis
Compared with the old industry regulations, the main breakthroughs of GB/T40132-2021 are:
- New special test for tactile mode (Article 5.25.5)
- Clearly distinguish the life requirements of motors with/without iron core
- Introduction of new test methods such as roller drop
The implementation of this standard will promote the industry's product yield to increase by about 15-20% (based on the actual measured data of the main drafting units).
