Introduction
Standard Framework and Technology Evolution
GB/T40405-2021 is the first national standard in the field of building screen doors and windows. It integrates the technical requirements of industry standards such as QB/T4286 and JC/T173, and systematically regulates the technical parameters of new products such as roller screen doors and windows and folding screen doors and windows for the first time. The standard took three years to formulate, led by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Building Curtain Wall Doors and Windows, and 28 units participated in the drafting.
Analysis of core technical requirements
| Performance indicators | Screen door requirements | Screen window requirements | Detection methods |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wind resistance | ≥10.8m/s(Level 4) | ≥8.0m/s(Level 3) | GB/T34824 |
| Repeated opening and closing | ≥30000 times | ≥10000 times | GB/T29739 |
| Gauze tension | 100N load without damage | QB/T4286 | |
Material key indicators
Key points for synthetic fiber mesh testing
Appendix A stipulates that multifilament mesh must pass 1200h UV aging and 48h salt and alkali immersion tests, and the warp breaking strength requirement for single-filament mesh is ≥330N/50mm. In actual projects, it is recommended to use models that have passed the 6-level oil repellency test in coastal areas.
Stainless steel mesh selection guide
The wire diameter of stainless steel mesh for doors is ≥0.8mm and must pass the 360h neutral salt spray test. It is recommended to use 20 mesh × 20 mesh (hole spacing 0.87mm) specifications for high-rise buildings, and its tensile strength reaches 580N/mm².
Implementation suggestions
- The wall thickness of aluminum alloy profiles needs to be selected according to the type of mesh: metal mesh screen ≥1.4mm, non-metal mesh screen ≥1.2mm
- The wind resistance performance test should simulate the actual installation state, and pay attention to the matching clearance between the screen box and the track ≤3.0mm
- When the synthetic fiber mesh is accepted on site, the UV aging test report specified in Appendix A.2.2.7 should be checked
