《GB/T 40965-2021回复反射的测量方法》由TC224(全国照明电器标准化技术委员会)归口,TC224SC3(全国照明电器标准化技术委员会光辐射测量分会)执行,主管部门为中国轻工业联合会。
Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
Terminology
The standard clearly defines key concepts such as retro-reflector and retro-reflective element, among which:
- Retro-reflectance ratio: the ratio of reflected to incident luminous flux, reflecting the reflection efficiency of the material
- Observation angle (α): the angle between the illumination axis and the observation axis, usually <10°
- Incident angle (β): decomposed into two orthogonal components β1 and β2
Geometric system comparison
| System type | Applicable Scenarios | Core Parameters | Conversion Formula |
|---|---|---|---|
| CIE Goniometer System | Laboratory Benchmark Measurement | α,β1,β2,ε | β=cos-1(cosβ1cosβ2) |
| Road Marking System | Horizontal Pavement Measurement | a,e,b,d | α=cos-1(sina sine-cosacosb cose) |
Laboratory Measurement Method
Ratio method
Calculation formula: RI=(mT-mD)·d12/mS, requirements:
- 15m darkroom environment
- Light source stability<1%
- V(λ) matching error≤3.5%
Sources of uncertainty
- Geometric positioning error (angle tolerance±0.1°)
- Aperture effect (standard circular aperture 0.05°~0.333°)
- Spectral mismatch (extreme colors can reach 5%)
Implementation suggestions
Field measurement specifications
For road marking materials:
- Fixed geometry: α=1.05°, β1=88.76°
- Recommended aperture: 0.33°×0.33° (detector)
- Calibration requirements: Use reference standard plates of the same color system
Technology Evolution
For the first time, the standard systematically integrates four geometric system conversion formulas to solve the following problems in traditional measurement:
- Problems with rotation sensitivity of prism reflectors
- Problems with comparability of multi-laboratory data
- Problems with consistency between field and laboratory measurements
