《GB/T 41556-2022牛巴贝斯虫病诊断技术》由TC181(全国动物卫生标准化技术委员会)归口,主管部门为农业农村部。
Introduction
Technical framework of diagnosis and treatment standards
This standard innovatively establishes a three-level diagnosis system: clinical feature determination → etiological testing → nucleic acid/antibody laboratory confirmation, covering the entire process from screening of suspected cases to precise typing diagnosis.
Comparison of key points of detection technology implementation
| Technical indicators | Blood smear microscopy | PCR detection | ELISA detection |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sensitivity | ≥0.1% infection rate | 1 copy/μL | S/P≥0.28 |
| Operation time | 2h | 4h | 5h |
| Equipment requirements | Optical microscope | PCR instrument | Enzyme reader |
Innovation in etiological diagnosis technology
The standard clearly defines the criteria for judging dual pathogen mixed infection for the first time: when the specific fragments of 408bp (bovine Babesia) and 646bp (biloba Babesia) are detected at the same time, it is determined to be a mixed infection case (see the figure in Appendix H).
Key parameters for antibody detection
- Serum S/P value ≥ 0.28 determines positive for Bovine Babesia
- S/P ≥ 0.32 determines positive for Double-budded Babesia
- Data collection requires the use of a fully automatic microplate reader
Standard application guide
Clinical diagnosis case
In 2023, a case of body temperature of 41°C and hemoglobinuria occurred in a ranch in Qinghai. Through the standardized preparation of blood smears (see Chapter 8 Operation Specifications), typical double pear-seed worm bodies were found. Finally, mixed infection was confirmed by PCR amplification, which effectively guided the precise use of drugs.
