This standard is applicable to electric vapor compression heat pump hot water systems with a heating capacity of ≥3000W, and focuses on regulating three major technical links:

Installation process specification

6.15 Key installation process

  1. Water system: The heating time of PPR pipe hot melting shall be controlled according to Appendix E (DN50 pipe requires 18±2 seconds)
  2. Electrical safety: The resistance of the conductor to the ground is ＞0.5MΩ, and different voltage lines are laid separately
  3. Lightning protection grounding: Outdoor metal parts shall be connected to the building lightning protection device with the same potential

Implementation recommendations

Winter operation guarantee measures

  • It is recommended to configure self-limiting temperature electric heating tape (maintaining power ≥30W/m) in low temperature areas
  • Air source units need to be equipped with inclined water collection trays (slope ≥5°)
  • Circulating pumps should be configured with one in use and one in standby

Standard evolution analysis

Main upgrades compared to the old version of the standard:

  • Added heat storage tank volume calculation formula (5.5.1)
  • Refine the flow rate requirements for different pipe diameters (Table 2 Closed system DN100 flow rate 1.3-1.8m/s)
  • Supplement the rain protection requirements for solenoid valve installation (6.15.11)
