Textiles - Determination of phosphate compounds

1 Scope

This document describes the gas chromatography and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) methods for the determination of the content of eight phosphate compounds in textiles.

This document is applicable to all kinds of textiles.

4 Principle

The specimens are extracted ultrasonically with ethyl acetate, and after being filtered by membrane, the extract solutions will be determined by a gas chromatograph equipped with a flame photometric detector (P-type), or determined by gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer and quantified by external standard method.
