Custom furniture - Specification for installation acceptance

1 Scope

This document specifies the requirements and verification methods for the installation acceptance of custom furniture.

This document is applicable to the installation acceptance of custom furniture.

2 Normative references

The following documents contain requirements which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies.

3 Terms and definitions

For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB 28202-2020 and the following apply.

3.1
custom furniture
furniture that is measured, designed, manufactured, installed and served according to the individual needs of customers
Note: Major custom furniture includes custom wardrobe, custom kitchen cabinets, custom bookcases, custom desks, custom sofas and custom mattresses.

customer
organization or natural person that purchase or receive custom furniture products and services

4 Requirements

4.1 Basic requirements

4.1.1 The manufacturers or sellers of custom furniture shall have organizations for providing installation services and meet the following requirements:

——An effective installation service quality system shall be established;

——Self-inspection shall be carried out on a regular basis according to the requirements of the installation service quality system;

——Equipment, instruments and safety protection articles matching the installation service shall be provided;

——A channel or platform for quick and effective communication with customers shall be established, and special personnel shall be allocated for receiving, recording, communicating, confirming and processing customer information and service information;

——Equipment, instruments and safety protection articles shall be calibrated and maintained on a regular basis in accordance with relevant national regulations and internal documents of service organization;
