Analysis of the background of standard formulation and technological evolution

As a high-performance synthetic fiber, polyimide short fibers are widely used in aerospace, electronic insulation, high-temperature filtration and other fields due to their excellent thermal stability and mechanical properties. With the advancement of technology and the growth of market demand, it is necessary to formulate unified technical standards to regulate product quality and testing methods.

Interpretation of core technical requirements

Linear density deviation rate:±8.0% for superior products, ±10.0% for qualified products. This indicator reflects the uniformity of the fiber, and the lower the deviation rate, the higher the product quality.

Diameter deviation rate:It is also divided into superior products and qualified products, which is consistent with the linear density deviation rate requirements. In actual applications, the diameter deviation rate is calculated after microscopic measurement (as shown in Appendix B).

Breaking strength:≥0.85Xα for superior products, and the specific value is determined by negotiation between the supply and demand parties. The breaking strength test method refers to GB/T 14337, and the pre-tension per unit linear density is (0.15±0.02) cN/dtex.

Implementation suggestions

Case analysis: How to improve the control accuracy of fiber length

For fibers with a small nominal length (≤4mm), it is recommended to use a projector-assisted measurement method (as shown in Appendix C). By selecting the magnification and accurately measuring, human errors can be effectively reduced and the detection accuracy of the length deviation rate can be improved.
