《GB/T 43357-2023钢丝绳一般性能试验方法》由TC183(全国钢标准化技术委员会)归口,TC183SC12(全国钢标准化技术委员会钢丝绳分会)执行,主管部门为中国钢铁工业协会。
Introduction
Interpretation of the core content of the standard
This standard systematically specifies the test methods for 39 performance parameters of wire ropes, including testing systems such as geometric properties, mechanical properties, durability and material analysis, and is applicable to quality control and acceptance of various types of wire rope products.
Comparison of key technical indicators
| Test items | Key equipment | Accuracy requirements | Judgment basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Breaking tensile force | Tensile testing machine | Grade 1 accuracy | GB/T 8358 |
| Elastic modulus | Extensometer system | Grade 0.5 | GB/T 12160 |
| Bending fatigue | Special fatigue machine | ±1% load | GB/T 12347 |
Detailed explanation of key test methods
1. Breaking tensile test
A three-level loading system is adopted: initial load ≤3%Fmin→gradual loading until fracture, and the effective gauge length is set in sections according to the diameter of the wire rope:
- D≤6mm: ≥200mm
- 6<D≤20mm: ≥500mm
- D>20mm: ≥1000mm
2. Elastic modulus determination
Distinguish between three state moduli:
- Initial elastic modulus Ei: measured in the first loading range of 10%-30%Fmin
- Stable elastic modulus Ef: measured after ≥50 load cycles
- Calculation formula: E=L0×(F30%-F10%)/[S0(x2-x1)]
Implementation Tips
Specimen Preparation Specifications
When cutting specimens, the ends must be tied to prevent loosening. When straightening the stranded wire, a wooden/rubber hammer should be used to avoid thermal damage.
Dispute handling principles
When there is a dispute over geometric parameters such as diameter and out-of-roundness, it is necessary to retest under 5%Fmin tension; if the fracture position of the breaking tensile test does not meet the requirements of GB/T 8358, it should be retested.
Data rounding rules
According to YB/T 081: Breaking tensile <10kN is rounded to 0.01kN, 10-100kN is rounded to 0.1kN, ≥1000kN is rounded to 10kN.
