Introduction

1. Background and significance of standard formulation

During the production and display process of carpets, the foam backing is easily peeled off due to friction and pressure, affecting the appearance and service life of the product. The formulation of GB/T 44675-2024 standard aims to provide a scientific and unified evaluation method to ensure product quality.

2. Scope of application of the standard

  • Applicable objects:Applicable to the peeling test of new carpets and their foam backing materials.
  • Not applicable:Used or aged carpets, because their problems may be caused by fatigue or aging rather than manufacturing defects.

3. Comparison of standard frameworks
