Introduction
1. Standard Overview
GB/T45053-2024 "Turbine Compressors for Ethylene Plants" national standard mainly targets single-shaft centrifugal compressors used in ethylene plants, including cracking gas compressors, propylene compressors, ethylene compressors and multi-component refrigeration compressors. The standard specifies in detail the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, transportation and storage requirements.

3. Interpretation of technical requirements
3.1 Mechanical structure requirements
The pressure-bearing casing of the compressor adopts a horizontal split design, and the middle split surface should be a metal-to-metal structure. All external interfaces must be flanged and meet the requirements of HG/T20615 or HG/T20623 standards.
3.2 Pneumatic performance optimization
When the compressor is running at the guaranteed point, there should be no negative deviation in the energy head and flow. Under rated conditions, the shaft power should not exceed 102% of the design value. The flow adjustment range of the speed-adjustable compressor is at least 30% to ensure stable operation under different working conditions.
4. Implementation Suggestions
- During the procurement and design phase, give priority to compressor equipment that meets the GB/T45053-2024 standard.
- Perform nondestructive testing, water pressure testing and overspeed testing in strict accordance with standard requirements to ensure equipment safety performance.
- Strengthen equipment operation and maintenance, regularly check vibration, noise and sealing performance, and extend the service life of the equipment.
