Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
This standard specifies the technical specifications of the personnel search and rescue beacon in distress scenarios at sea, and realizes positioning and distress functions through three communication methods: AIS, DSC and BeiDou-3 regional short message. The equipment must meet stringent requirements such as -20℃~55℃ operating temperature, IPX3 protection level and 24-hour continuous transmission.
Key Technology Comparison
| Functional Module | Operating Frequency | Positioning Mode | Message Type | Transmission Interval |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AIS | 161.975/162.025 MHz | GNSS Synchronization | Message No. 1/No. 14 | 1~10 minutes |
| DSC | 156.525 MHz | GNSS Cold Start | Distress Single Call | 5~10 minutes |
| Beidou short message | 1610~1626.5 MHz | Beidou-3 positioning | Emergency search and rescue frame | 1~10 minutes |
Implementation points
- Equipment activation: Double operation is required to prevent false triggering, and the water immersion sensor must respond within 60 seconds
- Battery management: Standby life ≥4 years, continuous work ≥24 hours after activation
- GNSS requirements: Cold start acquisition time ≤5 minutes, continue to transmit the last valid coordinates after losing position
- Test mode: Transmit specific test messages (AIS navigation status is set to 15, Beidou subtype 0011)
Standard evolution
Compared with IEC 63269:2022, this standard adds the technical requirements for the BeiDou-3 regional short message communication module, adjusts the battery life test method (self-test frequency once a month), and optimizes the DSC receiver spurious response suppression index to 50dB.
