Key Technical Points
4.1 Identification Structure System
A six-level tree-like coding structure is adopted: Joint identification → Function identification → Product identification, among which:
- Heat source system shall give priority to using Class E engineering type code (E001-E999)
- Pipeline system is classified by L/W/Y, with additional 7-digit postal code positioning
- Thermal power station adopts the special coding segment S951-S959

8.2 Key points of project agreements
- Establish a coding index file to manage S4S5 system numbers
- Use a special code of Y+three-digit building number for the tertiary pipe network
- Equipment labels should include complete prefix symbols (such as #, =)

Compared with the old version of the specification, the 2025 version has the following major improvements:
- Added new energy heat source classifications such as heat pump station (04) and solar station (05)
- Refine the floor coding rules for building-type thermal power stations (ZSB)
- Supplement the electronic identification requirements for IoT devices
