Scope

This standard specifies the measurement methods for ship radiated noise in inland waterways and ports in order to obtain accurate and comparable data. This standard applies to all kinds of civil ships in inland waterways and ports, as well as small coastal ships, port ships and engineering ships, excluding powered recreational ships.
