Introduction
1. Background of Standard Formulation and Technological Evolution
This standard was revised by Qinhuangdao Glass Industry Research and Design Institute to meet the requirements of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development's "2016 Engineering Construction Standards and Specifications Formulation and Revision Plan". Compared with the old version, the main changes have been made to the chapter settings, a new chapter on "Environmental Protection Facilities", and adjustments to relevant content in accordance with current national standards.

3. Implementation suggestions and case analysis
Case 1:During the reconstruction process, a flat glass factory added online monitoring facilities in accordance with the new standard requirements and adopted a wet desulfurization process. The results showed that the sulfur dioxide emission concentration was significantly reduced, meeting the national standard requirements.
Case 2:A newly built factory fully considered the wind direction and diffusion conditions during the general layout stage, separated the high noise area from the office and living area, and effectively reduced the noise pollution at the factory boundary.
