Scope

1.0.1 This specification is formulated to standardize the design of farmland shelterbelt projects and ensure the quality of farmland shelterbelt project construction. 1.0.2 This specification is applicable to the engineering design of new or reconstructed farmland shelterbelts. 1.0.3 The engineering design of farmland shelterbelts should be coordinated with the local national economic and social development plan, and adapted to modern agricultural development and new rural construction. 1.0.4 The design of farmland shelterbelts should implement the principles of adapting measures to local conditions and fortifying according to hazards. 1.0.5 The design of farmland shelterbelt projects should focus on scientific and technological progress, actively and steadily introduce new varieties, adopt new technologies and new techniques, pay attention to the construction of information systems, and improve the modernization of farmland shelterbelt engineering. 1.0.6 The design of the farmland shelterbelt project shall not only comply with this specification, but also comply with the current relevant national standards.
