Introduction

Standard Overview and Technical Background

This standard is formulated in accordance with the 2015 revision plan of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development for engineering construction standards and specifications, and is intended to ensure the safe operation of nuclear power plants throughout their life cycle. The drafting team has formed a technical system consisting of 11 chapters and 3 appendices through extensive research, practice summary and reference to international standards, focusing on the core contents such as general principles, detection methods, structural analysis, and appraisal rating.

Typical application case

During regular inspection, it was found that the prestress loss of the containment of a coastal nuclear power plant reached 18%.
