Introduction

1. Background and significance of standard formulation

This standard is based on the "2012 Engineering Construction Standard Specification Formulation and Revision Plan" issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, combined with the actual situation of coal tar processing and production in my country, and absorbs the latest domestic and foreign technological achievements. Its formulation aims to standardize the design of coal tar processing projects, ensure safe production, energy conservation and environmental protection, advanced technology and economic rationality.

  • Horizontal vessels should be arranged in groups, and water accumulation in the pit should be properly handled.
  • Heating furnaces should be concentrated at the edge of the device and close to fire or maintenance passages.

Safety and environmental protection measures

Strictly comply with fire separation distance requirements and ensure that cofferdams are set for flammable liquid storage tanks. Exhaust gas must be purified before discharge, and solid waste should be sent to designated treatment sites.
