Scope

This standard specifies the general characteristics, performance requirements and inspection methods of nuclear reactor safety logic devices. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and inspection (including acceptance and operation inspection) of the safety logic device of the nuclear reactor protection system. This standard does not apply to safety logic functions implemented inside safety logic devices.
