《GB/T 5576-1997橡胶与胶乳 命名法》由TC35（全国橡胶与橡胶制品标准化技术委员会）归口，TC35SC6（全国橡胶与橡胶制品标准化技术委员会合成橡胶分会）执行，主管部门为中国石油和化学工业联合会。
本标准为干胶和胶乳两种形态的基础橡胶建立了一套符号体系。该符号体系以聚合物链的化学组成为基矗本标准的目的是使工业、商业和管理机构使用的术语标准化。本体系无意与现用的商品名称和商标相矛盾，更确切地说是作为它们的补充。

Scope

This standard establishes a symbol system for base rubber in two forms of dry rubber and latex. The notation system is based on the chemical composition of the polymer chain. The purpose of this standard is to standardize terminology used by industry, commerce and regulatory agencies. This system is not intended to contradict existing trade names and trademarks, but rather to complement them. Note 1: In technical documents or literature, rubber names should be used as much as possible. These symbols should be placed after the chemical name for subsequent reference.
