Spindle end classification system
The standard divides spindle ends into three categories:
- Type A1: Double distributed circular screw hole structure (d2/d3 distribution circle)
- Type A2: Single distributed circular screw hole structure (Specifications No. 5-28)
- Type A0: New special specification No. 2 (see Appendix A)
Key points for core dimension control
Take No. 15 spindle as an example:
- d1 reference diameter: 196.869mm (+0.020/-0mm tolerance)
- d3 distribution circle: 368.3mm (±0.4mm general tolerance)
- Bolt specification: M20 with 28.6mm countersunk hole

Selection and matching principles
- CNC lathes should give priority to A2 type structure (single distribution circle simplified design)
- Heavy-duty processing recommends the use of A1 type double bolt distribution structure
- Special fixtures need to refer to Appendix B assembly diagram
