本标准对应于IEC 60498：1975《核仪器用高压同轴连接器》和IEC 60313：2002《用于核实验室仪器的同轴电缆连接器》，与IEC 60498：1975：IEC 60313：2002一致性程度为非等效。
本标准规定了两种型式的高压同轴连接器结构和配合部分的尺寸及主要电性能。
本标准适用于与核电子仪器相连接的高压同轴连接器。
本标准代替GB/T 5964-1986《核仪器用高压同轴连接器》。
本标准与GB/T 5964-1986的主要差异如下：
——标准名称改为《核仪器用同轴电缆连接器》；
——增加IEC 60729等规范性引用文件；
——增加“术语和定义”，如“峰值电压”、“安全高压连接器（SHV0）”等术语；
——增加附录A“信号传输用同轴电缆连接器”，其内容是IEC 60313推荐的3种信号传输用同轴电缆连接器。

Scope

This standard specifies the dimensions and main electrical properties of the structure and mating parts of two types of high-voltage coaxial connectors. This standard applies to high-voltage coaxial connectors connected to nuclear electronic instruments. Products manufactured according to the structure, size and technical requirements stipulated in this standard can be completely interchanged with foreign similar products in terms of mechanical and electrical properties. For the coaxial cable connectors used for signal transmission, see the three recommended signal connectors in Appendix A.
