《GB/T 5988-2022耐火材料 加热永久线变化试验方法》由TC193(全国耐火材料标准化技术委员会)归口,TC193SC3(全国耐火材料标准化技术委员会试验方法分会)执行,主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
Introduction
Background of Standard Revision and Technological Evolution
GB/T5988-2022, as the third revised version, integrates the contents of ISO2478:1987 and ISO2477:2005 international standards. The main technical changes include:
- Delete the requirements for preparation of amorphous refractory samples
- Add normative requirements for test furnaces and thermocouples
- Optimize the sample height specification (60±2mm)
- Add a new allowable error clause (Chapter 9)
Comparison of core test methods
| Test items | Dense shaped products | Shaped insulation products |
|---|---|---|
| Specimen size | 50mm×50mm×(60±2)mm or Φ50mm×(60±2)mm | 100mm×114mm×65/75mm |
| Measurement accuracy | 0.01mm (length measuring instrument) | 0.1mm (comparator method) |
| Calculation formula | Lc=(L1-L0)/L0×100% | Added conversion formula for volume method |
Key equipment requirements
Test furnace specifications
Must meet the following technical requirements:
- Temperature difference in sample loading area ≤±10℃
- Equipped with ≥3 thermocouples that comply with GB/T16839.1
- With temperature recording and display functions
Selection of measuring device
- Dense products: Use a length measuring instrument with a dial indicator (accuracy 0.01mm)
- Thermal insulation products: Use a vernier caliper or digital comparator (accuracy 0.1mm)
Implementation points and error control
Precautions for sample preparation
- The 60mm direction of the dense product sample should be consistent with the molding pressurization direction
- The measuring surface needs to be ground and kept parallel, and the parallelism deviation is ≤0.05mm
- The measuring point of shaped insulation products should be 15mm away from the edge
Allowable error standard
| Material type | Error in the same laboratory | Error between laboratories |
|---|---|---|
| Dense shaped products | ≤0.10% | ≤0.20% |
| Shaped insulation products | ≤0.2% | ≤0.4% |
Typical application cases
High Alumina Brick Testing Example: A factory used the new standard to test LZ-75 high alumina bricks, and the linear change rate under the condition of 1500℃×3h was -0.25%, and the deviation of repeated test results was 0.08%, which met the standard allowable error requirements. The key control point is the consistency of the sample placement direction and the molding pressure direction.
