1 Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage as well as safety of acetone for industrial use.

This standard is applicable to acetone for industrial use prepared by cumene method and fermentation method.

Relative molecular mass: 58.08 (according to international relative atomic mass in 2007).

3.1 Appearance: transparent liquid.
