GB/T 6171-2000 in English

1 Scope

This standard specifies the characteristics of hexagon nuts, style 1, with thread specification of M8×1~M64×4, with fine pitch thread, with property class of 6, 8, 10, A2-50, A2-70, A4-50, A4-70, CU2, CU3 and AL4, with product grade A for sizes D up to and including 16mm and product grade B for sizes D over 16mm.
If, in special cases, specifications other than those listed in this standard are required, they shall be selected from current standards, for example GB/T 196, GB/T 3098.4, GB/T 3098.15 and GB/T 3103.1.
Coarse thread hexagon nuts according to GB/T 6170 shall be the first choice.
