Scope

This standard specifies the measurement methods and measurement equipment for the position of various driver's seat marker points (SIP) for agricultural and forestry tractors and machinery. This standard provides a unified definition method for the position of SIP on the driver's seat relative to the fixed point. SIP can be measured on the driver's seat alone or the driver's seat is installed on the machine and measured in the working environment. SIP is a characteristic of the driver's seat. This point can be provided by the driver's seat manufacturer. This standard applies to agricultural and forestry tractors and machinery.
