《GB/T 6646-2008温石棉试验方法》由609（中国建筑材料联合会）归口，主管部门为中国建筑材料联合会。
本标准代替GB/T 6646.1-1986《温石棉纤维干式分级方法》、GB/T 6646.2-1986《温石棉纤维长度湿式分级方法》、GB/T 6646.3-1986《温石棉纤维长度快速湿式分级方法》、GB/T 6646.4-1986《温石棉比表面积测定方法》、GB/T 6646.5-1986《温石棉中砂粒与未解离温石棉含量测定方法》、GB/T 6646.6-1986《温石棉水分测定方法》、GB/T 8073-1987《温石棉松解度湿式测定方法》七个标准。
本标准规定了温石棉产品的干式分级和夹杂物含量测定方法、湿式分级方法、快速湿式分级方法、比表面积测定方法、砂粒与未松解温石棉含量测定方法、水分测定方法、松解棉含量测定方法、细粉含量快速测定方法、砂粒含量测定方法、松散密度测定方法。
本标准适用于机选温石棉产品质量的检测。其他纤维矿物也可参照采用。
本标准与上述标准相比，本标准主要做了如下修改：
――将上述七个标准整合为一个标准；
――增加了试验筛筛网的质量要求；
――增加了试验用水的质量要求；
――增加了细粉含量快速测定方法；
――增加了砂粒含量测定方法；
――增加了松散密度测定方法。

Scope

This standard specifies dry classification and inclusion content determination methods, wet classification methods, rapid wet classification methods, specific surface area determination methods, sand and undissolved chrysotile content determination methods, moisture determination methods, and debonded cotton for chrysotile products. Content determination method, rapid determination method of fine powder content, sand content determination method, loose density determination method. This standard applies to the quality testing of machine-selected chrysotile products. Other fibrous minerals can also be used by reference.
