Scope

This standard specifies the test device, procedure and method for the determination of the copper ion leaching rate of antifouling paints using cuprous oxide as antifouling agent in artificial seawater by atomic absorption spectrometry. This standard applies to ship bottom antifouling paints with cuprous oxide as antifouling agent.
