Scope of Application: This document describes methods for determining sound power levels and sound energy levels of noise sources through the measurement of sound pressure levels in a reverberation room. It applies to various types of noises defined in GB/T 19052, such as steady-state, non-steady-state, fluctuating, and impulsive sounds, with frequency ranges including center frequencies from 100 Hz to 10,000 Hz for 1/3 octave bands. The standard provides information on measurement uncertainties that comply with Grade 1 accuracy (precise level) as per GB/T 19052-2003.


This document is equivalent to the ISO 3741:2010 and aligns with other standards in the ISO \(3740^{} \sim \mathrm{ISO} 3747^{}\). It includes detailed procedures for measuring sound power levels and sound energy levels, including the calculation of total sound power levels and sound energy levels based on octave bands, A-weighted values, and unweighted values.
