Scope

This part of GB/T 7672 specifies the requirements for temperature index 155, impregnated glass fiber-clad copper round wire and impregnated glass fiber-wrapped, grade 1 or grade 2 paint film thickness enamelled round copper wire. The impregnating varnish can be, for example, a polyester or polyesterimide resin varnish. The enameled wire shall be based on one of the following standards: GB/T 6109.2-2008, GB/T 6109.5-2008 or GB/T 6109.20-2008, and shall be determined through consultation between the supply and demand parties. The temperature index of glass fiber-clad copper round winding wire depends on the type of impregnating varnish used. The impregnating varnish impregnating the glass filaments preferably has a temperature index of at least 155. The glass fiber cladding can be: a) single glass fiber wrapping; b) double glass fiber wrapping, the two layers of glass fiber wrapping are in opposite directions. The range of nominal diameters of conductors in this part is as follows: - double glass filaments (GL2) wrapped on bare conductors: from 0.500mm up to and including 5.000mm; ): from 0.500mm up to and including 1.600mm; -wrapped glass filaments on enamelled wires of grade 2 film thickness (Grade2 GL1 and Grade2 GL2): from 0.500mm up to and including 5.000mm.
