Scope

This standard specifies the test method for the corrosion resistance of glass-lined glazes to boiling hydrochloric acid vapor. This standard specifies the test device for the determination of the corrosion resistance of glass-lined flat specimens to acid and neutral liquids and their vapors. This standard applies to the determination of the corrosion resistance of glass-lined flat test pieces to boiling hydrochloric acid vapor.
