《GB/T 8046-1987信息处理交换用蒙古文字符集键盘的字母区布局》由TC28（全国信息技术标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准规定了GB 8045-87《信息处理交换用蒙古文七位和八位编码图形字符集》在键盘上字母区的布局。本标准适用于信息处理交换设备所配的键盘装置。该键盘装置应同时具有处理GB 1988中规定的字符功能。
Scope
This standard stipulates the layout of the letter area on the keyboard of GB8045-87 "Mongolian 7-bit and 8-bit coded graphic character set for information processing and exchange". This standard applies to keyboard devices equipped with information processing and switching equipment. The keyboard device should also have the function of processing characters specified in GB1988.
