Scope

This standard specifies the relevant matching dimensions of feed harvesters, feed trailers, unloading boxes and feed conveyors. This standard applies to forage harvesters, feed trailers, discharge boxes and feed conveyors used according to the following routine operating procedures: a. Feed trailers are attached to the back of the forage harvester or separately pulled by a tractor on one side of the forage harvester. Transport the harvested feed to the feed trailer; b. The tractor pulls the feed trailer to the unloading box or the feed conveyor in the storage place, unloads the feed from the feed trailer to the unloading box, and then sends it to the feed conveyor; or Unload directly from the feed trailer to the feed conveyor. Then it is sent to the adjacent silage cellar, silage tower or storage bin, or it can be directly unloaded from the feed trailer to the feeding trough. This standard does not include simple flail-type forage harvesters used in conjunction with heightened fence agricultural trailers during normal operations. Simple flail-type forage harvester refers to: a. Suspension or semi-suspension; b. No secondary shredding device; c. No secondary thrower and other conveying devices;
