Scope

WARNING: Personnel using this standard should have practical experience in formal laboratory work. This standard does not address all possible safety issues. It is the user's responsibility to take appropriate safety and health measures and ensure compliance with the conditions stipulated by relevant national laws. Liquid anhydrous ammonia is highly toxic, corrosive to skin, mucous membranes and eyes, and can cause severe burns if contacted. Proper protection should be carried out during operation. This part of GB/T 8570 specifies the determination of moisture in liquid anhydrous ammonia by the Karl Fischer method. This section applies to liquid anhydrous ammonia products with a moisture content of not less than 0.0050%.
