《GB/T 8597-2003滚动轴承 防锈包装》由TC98（全国滚动轴承标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国机械工业联合会。
本标准规定了滚动轴承、商品滚动体及商品套圈清洗、防锈、包装技术要求和方法。本标准适用于生产厂和用户对滚动轴承、商品滚动体及商品套圈清洗、防锈，内包装、外包装的检查和验收。

1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements and methods for the cleaning, rust prevention and packaging of rolling bearings, commercial rolling elements and commercial rings.
This standard is applicable to the inspection and acceptance of the cleaning, rust prevention, inner package and outer package of rolling bearings, commercial rolling elements and commercial rings by the manufacturer and the consumer.
