《GB/T 8693-2008纺织品 纱线的标示》由TC209（全国纺织品标准化技术委员会）归口，TC209SC1（全国纺织品标准化技术委员会基础标准分会）执行，主管部门为中国纺织工业联合会。
本标准规定了单纱、并绕纱、股线和缆线等纱线构成的两种标示方法，包括以特克斯制（Ｔｅｘ制）表示的线密度、长丝纱线中的单丝根数、捻向和捻数，以及股数。
Scope
This standard specifies two labeling methods for single yarn, double-wound yarn, ply yarn and cable yarn, including the linear density expressed in Tex system (Tex system), the single filament root in filament yarn number, twist direction and number of twists, and number of strands.
