《GB/T 8948-2008聚氯乙烯人造革》由TC48（全国塑料制品标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国轻工业联合会。
本标准代替GB/T 8948-1994《聚氯乙烯人造革》。
本标准规定了聚氯乙烯人造革的产品分类、要求、试验方法、检验规则及标志、包装、运输、贮存。
本标准适用于以平纹布或斜纹布为底基，在聚氯乙烯树脂中加入增塑剂和其他添加剂经压延或涂覆等方法而制成的聚氯乙烯人造革。
本标准不适用于针织布基聚氯乙烯人造革。
本标准与GB/T 8948-1994相比主要变化如下：
―――本标准增加按涂层是否发泡进行分类：发泡革和不发泡革。
―――本标准重新调整4.1.2指标，按厚度不同确定不同指标。
―――本标准要求中的4.1.4、4.2、4.3指标不分等级，统一采用原标准的一等品指标。
―――本标准根据物理力学性能对产品的重要程度分为通用物理力学性能（4.3）和协商物理力学性
能（4.4）。
―――把原标准中的耐折牢度、粘着性、低温耐折牢度、耐揉搓性和耐顶破强度列入协商物理力学性
能，增加耐光性、硫化性两项指标。
―――本标准在试验方法中增加耐光性、硫化性的试验方法，同时把低温耐折牢度、耐揉搓性和耐顶
破强度的试验方法由附录改为正文。
―――老化性试验温度不分等级，统一采用原标准的一等品指标。

Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of polyvinyl chloride artificial leather. This standard applies to polyvinyl chloride artificial leather made by adding plasticizer and other additives to polyvinyl chloride resin, calendering or coating with plain or twill cloth as the base. This standard does not apply to knitted cloth-based polyvinyl chloride artificial leather.
