Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, series, types, naming and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and labeling, packaging, transportation and storage of colorless optical glass (hereinafter referred to as: optical glass). This standard applies to optical glass blanks with a minimum side length of $8\mathrm{mm}\leqslant$ and a minimum side length of $\leqslant150~\mathrm{mm}$ in the form of strips (rods), blocks, etc.
