Scope
This standard specifies the basic parameters, classification, limit indicators and corresponding measurement conditions of sound broadcasting receivers. This standard applies to sound broadcasting receivers (hereinafter referred to as radios) and tuners, and also to the radio part of tape recorders; but it does not apply to special models (such as car radios, etc.) for digital radio.
