Scope

This standard specifies the test method for determining the tensile properties of rigid foamed plastics. This standard is mainly applicable to foamed plastics that can withstand the pressure of the fixture of the sample. If the sample cannot bear the pressure of the fixture, it shall be tested according to the method specified in Chapter 7.
