Introduction

In-depth interpretation of GB9981-2012 Rural Housing Sanitation Standard

Analysis of standard formulation background and technological evolution

GB9981-2012 Rural Housing Sanitation Standard is an important national standard proposed and coordinated by the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China. It aims to guide the design, construction and renovation of rural houses to create a living environment that is conducive to the health of residents. This standard replaces the original GB9981-1988. The main modifications include:

  • Structure adjusted according to GB/T1.1-2009
  • New chapter on "Sanitary Requirements for Rural Residential Buildings"
  • Optimize "Sanitary Indicators and Standard Values for Rural Residential Buildings"
  • Simplify redundant content and improve standardization

Comparative Analysis of Core Indicator Framework

Serial Number Indicator Category Indicator Unit Standard Value Remarks
1 Sunshine Index Sunshine Hours h Not less than 2.0 Main room on winter solstice
2 Sunshine spacing coefficient times Not less than 1.5 Warm area
Not less than 2.0 Cold area
Daylighting index Daylighting coefficient % Not less than 1.0 Main room
Window-to-floor area ratio - 1/7~1/6 Main room
1/10~1/8 Auxiliary room
Scale index Room depth coefficient 2.0~2.5 One side lighting

Implementation suggestions and practical application cases

In actual construction, the design and construction of rural houses should strictly follow the following principles:

  1. Reasonableness of site selection: Ensure that the building land meets the requirements of GB18055 and avoid low-lying and humid areas.
  2. Orientation optimization:Choose the best residential orientation according to local climate conditions. The angle between the dominant wind direction and the long axis of the building in summer should not be less than 30 degrees.
  3. Sanitary facilities configuration:Kitchens and bathrooms should have independent exhaust and drainage systems, and household toilets must comply with GB19379 standards.
  4. Material selection:Use environmentally friendly building materials to ensure that indoor air quality meets standards.

Actual application case: A temperate rural residence

In a temperate region, a two-story rural residence is designed according to GB9981-2012 standard:

  • Sunshine hours in the main room ≥ 2.0 hours (winter solstice)
  • Window-to-floor area ratio is controlled at 1/7~1/6
  • Per capita living area ≥ 8 square meters, per capita volume ≥ 20 cubic meters
